Two boys who had escaped from a youth care home are believed to have been involved in the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man at a restaurant in Midsommarkransen in southern Stockholm, according to information received by Aftonbladet.
The murder took place on Saturday evening, August 3. Several guests were present and are said to have witnessed the event. According to Aftonbladet, someone opened fire at the restaurant's entrance and the man was hit by multiple shots.
The staff heard the shots and had to take cover, the restaurant owner has previously said to the newspaper.
The prosecutor does not want to confirm that there are identified suspects. However, documents from the district court that TT has taken part of show that an investigation into the murder has been initiated according to the law with special provisions for young offenders (LUL) and that two minors have been appointed legal counsel.
