According to the Russian-installed government on Crimea, the evacuation is due to a large fire at the facility, reports AFP. Russia has not confirmed that the fire in Feodosiya was caused by a Ukrainian attack.

The port city on the Black Sea has around 70,000 inhabitants. The oil depot is said to be the largest on the Crimean Peninsula and supplies the Russian army, according to Ukraine.

On Tuesday, it is simultaneously reported that over 20 people were injured in a Russian attack on Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine.

Among the injured are at least one child, says Governor Oleh Synjehubov on Telegram. Several people are said to be seriously injured.

Reports are also coming in from Kherson of one death and several injuries after a Russian attack.

In Donetsk further east, Russia claims to have taken control of two smaller communities: Zorjane and Zolota Nyva near Pokrovsk, which Russian forces have been advancing towards for a long time. Pokrovsk is described as a logistically important hub for the Ukrainian army.
