At least 25 people have died after a boat carrying migrants was shipwrecked off the coast of Mauritania, reports news agency AMI.
Earlier, the UN's migration agency IOM reported that 15 people had died and around 190 people were missing.
Around 300 people were on board the boat for seven days before it capsized on Monday.
More than 100 people have been rescued by Mauritania's coast guard.
Efforts are underway to find people who are missing.
