A 28-year-old woman is being prosecuted on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death in January, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
The incident occurred in an apartment in Kålltorp, Gothenburg, when the police were alerted about a disturbance.
When we arrived at the scene, we found a severely injured man. He was stabbed in the upper body and was not conscious, said Jon Franzén, duty officer at the police, according to GP.
According to the indictment, the man died from a single stab wound. The man and woman were in a relationship but both struggled with addiction problems.
The woman claims that she did not intend to kill the man.
