A man in his 60s from Bohuslän has been banned from keeping animals after dragging his puppy behind his bicycle, resulting in its death, reports Bohuslänningen.

It was in November last year that passers-by stopped the man on the street when he was cycling around with his lifeless puppy being dragged behind the bicycle.

The County Administrative Board has banned the man from keeping animals altogether for an indefinite period. The man has previously been fined for breaching the law on supervision of dogs and cats.
