A man in his 50s died on Monday afternoon in a workplace accident in Piteå, the police write on their website. The accident is said to have occurred in connection with ditch clearing along a road where the man was injured by a work vehicle.
The rescue service, police, and ambulance were alerted to the scene, but the man's life could not be saved.
The police are investigating the accident and a technical examination of the work vehicle will be conducted.
