26 sheep were killed or put down after a wolf attack between Flen and Sparreholm in Sörmland during the night to Friday, reports local media.

The County Administrative Board has inspected the site and confirms that it is a wolf attack. 19 sheep are still missing.

The County Administrative Board cannot say whether it is one or several wolves.

It can be one, it can be several. It's in the middle of or on the outskirts of a territory, so there are several wolves moving around there, says Markus Södling, wildlife administrator at the County Administrative Board Södermanland, to P4 Sörmland.
