A 65-year-old man has died after a skiing accident in Åre, police write on their website.
The man is believed to have collided with a tree for unknown reasons. There is no suspicion of a crime.
I can confirm that a person collided with a tree at the edge of Tegesvängen. We transported him down to Tegeliften where an ambulance was waiting, said Anders Aspholm, safety manager at Skistar, to Östersunds-Posten earlier in the day.
