A man in his 40s has died in a drowning accident at Läckö Castle in Vänern, according to the police.
Another person, a child, was pulled out of the water and taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter. The child's condition is still unclear.
We are treating this as a death without suspicion of crime. Everything indicates that it was a tragic accident, says Fredrik Svedemyr, press spokesperson for the police.
The alarm about the accident came at 15.12 on Monday and several rescue resources were sent to the scene.
