A man has died after ending up in the water in central Lidköping, according to the police.
Two more people are also said to have jumped into the water, says Fredrik Svedemyr, press spokesperson for police region West.
The SOS alarm centre received the drowning alert at around 5 pm on Wednesday.
There is no suspicion of crime.
