A man in his 20s has died in a traffic accident in the Västerås region, according to a police statement on their website.
The man is believed to have driven off the road and collided with a tree.
The accident, which occurred at lunchtime on Sunday on county road 692, is being investigated as reckless driving and the vehicle will be seized.
Next of kin have been informed.
