A young man has been arrested, suspected of having shot and killed the rapper C Gambino in June.
The man, who is in his 20s, was previously arrested, suspected of aiding and abetting murder, but is now being arrested for the murder itself, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
He denies the crime.
My client also denies the new charge of murder. But the court considers him to be on probable grounds suspected and there is nothing we can do about it at this point, says defense attorney David BarDavid to GP.
Another young man, a teenager, is arrested, suspected of aiding and abetting the murder.
He is now also being arrested for aggravated vandalism. According to GP, he and a peer, who was arrested on Tuesday, are suspected of having set fire to the getaway car after the murder.
C Gambino, who performed with a face mask, released his debut album in 2022 and received the award for Hip-Hop of the Year at the Grammis Awards this spring.
He was shot to death in a parking garage on Hisingen in Gothenburg at the beginning of June.
