A man in his 40s is detained on probable cause suspected of murdering a woman of the same age in Arvika.
A man is suspected of having taken the life of his wife, or partner, in their shared residence, says prosecutor Barbro Brännlund to TT.
It was just before 10 pm on Thursday evening that the police were alerted to the residence. In connection with this, the man was apprehended.
A technical investigation has been conducted. According to Barbro Brännberg, the evidence is good.
At present, there are no other suspects.
