A 21-year-old man was arrested by Borås District Court on Tuesday, suspected of the fatal shooting in Borås last week. He is suspected of murder on probable grounds, according to prosecutor Carolyn Westeröd.
The victim of the shooting was a man in his 25s.
Both the deceased and the 21-year-old have connections to criminal gang environments, according to the prosecutor.
Another man is suspected of gross obstruction of justice. By Wednesday at the latest, the prosecutor must decide whether to request his arrest.
