A man in his 30s who was arrested in Sweden is suspected of human trafficking in Austria. Now, Kristianstad District Court has decided that he will be extradited, reports P4 Kristianstad.
It is an ongoing investigation and I do not want to complicate things for the Austrian investigation by releasing information, says prosecutor David Ludvigsson to the channel.
The suspected man, who was internationally wanted, was arrested on August 6 this year near Hässleholm. He is not a Swedish citizen but has resided in Sweden for a couple of years.
Austrian authorities now have ten days to pick up the man.
