Mälardalstrafik takes over regional traffic between Stockholm and Uppsala after SJ.
A total of 80 departures on weekdays and 72 departures on weekends are planned on the Stockholm-Uppsala route, writes Mälardalstrafik in a press release.
It was in August that SJ announced that the company would discontinue the "Uppsalapendeln" as of December 15.
