There had been rumors of a mega birthday party for 500 people, which was both condemned and welcomed in Pompeii, before Madonna visited the world heritage site in southern Italy on her 66th birthday (August 16th) for a private tour together with around 30 people.
At the same time, she donated 250,000 euros to "Dream of flying" – a theater project organized by Pompeii's museum for young people at risk.
Madonna is thus financing the academic year 2024/2025 for around 300 young people who are studying to become actors, musicians, and scriptwriters.
