It's clear with double Swedish final places in the European Athletics Championships in both the women's 3,000-meter hurdles and discus. Moreover, Yolanda Ngarambe made it to the final on the 1,500-meter track.
She came fifth in her qualifying heat, and had the fifth-best time overall.
For colleague Hanna Hermansson, who had been in two EM finals earlier, the qualifying round ended in great disappointment as she missed out on making it to the final after a runner fell in front of her twice during the race.
Emilia Lillemo set a personal record on the 3,000-meter hurdles when she qualified for the final with a time of 9:33.01 – fifth in the heat and ninth overall.
Linn Söderholm is also qualified for the final after a personal best time of 9:34.62.
Discus throwers Caisa-Marie Lindfors and Vanessa Kamga also qualified for the final. Lindfors threw 61.22 and Kamga 60.88 in the qualifying round.
