Another defendant, also a 25-year-old man, is sentenced by Norrköping District Court for aiding and abetting murder and aggravated weapons offenses to imprisonment for 13 years and 9 months.
"In assessing the aiding and abetting, it has been considered particularly aggravating that the murder was carefully planned and carried out with firearms in a public place", says Evelina Englund, chief judge and presiding judge in the case, in a comment.
Ordered taxi
The aiding and abetting has, among other things, consisted of him having let out an apartment to the murderer and arranged a taxi to and from the crime scene for him.
The boy was shot with multiple shots in the Navestad district at around 20:00 on April 14 last year. He was found injured outdoors and was taken to hospital, but his life could not be saved. According to the prosecutor, the boy was lured to the location before the murder.
The murder is believed to be linked to a conflict between criminal networks in the city that has resulted in a long series of serious violent crimes, including several murders, over the past year.
To be deported
The boy who was murdered was previously unconvicted, but a relative of his has, according to NT, figured in gang criminal contexts.
None of the men are Swedish citizens and are to be deported from Sweden. They will also have to pay damages to the murdered boy's parents and siblings.
