Anaheim's Swedish forward star Leo Carlsson was injured in the meeting with Seattle. The 19-year-old was tackled into the goal cage by Tye Kartye and lay on the ice at the end of the second period. Carlsson was later able to make his way to the locker room, but did not return to play.
It sucks to see one of our best players get hurt after such a questionable tackle, says teammate Frank Vatrano according to Aftonbladet.
After the match, Anaheim gave no information about how seriously injured Leo Carlsson is. The Värmland native has scored six goals and five assists in 20 NHL matches this season.
