North Korea's dictator Kim Jong-Un has at a ceremony inaugurated a delivery of 250 new launch pads to the country's border troops, according to the state news agency KCNA.
The launch pads can according to the North Korean propaganda organ carry so-called tactical ballistic missiles, projectiles with shorter range.
UN sanctions have demanded that Pyongyang cease its program for ballistic missiles, but the country has continued to develop the weapons and conducted regular test firings with different missile variants.
