Mons Kallentoft's crime novels about Detective Inspector Malin Fors are becoming a French Netflix series. Kallentoft himself is involved and is writing the script for his story about the Linköping police officer, which he first wrote about in "Midvinterblot" in 2006.
The series is being directed by Xavier Gens in collaboration with producer Vincent Roget, whose latest film "Hajar i Paris" is currently showing on Netflix.
It is not yet clear where the filming will take place or who will play Malin Fors. The language will, however, be French, which delights Kallentoft "since the books have received such a fantastic reception there", he says in a press release.
