A man in his 70s has died after a boat accident on Lake Stora Djupasjön in Svenljunga municipality a week ago.
Two elderly men were out fishing on the lake on Tuesday last week. When they sat on the same side of the boat, it capsized and both ended up in the water. After great drama, the men managed to get ashore, but one of them was seriously injured.
He was flown by ambulance helicopter to Södra Älvsborg Hospital in Borås, where he has been unconscious since then. But the injuries were so severe that his life could not be saved, reports P4 Sjuhärad.
