Industry Order Intake Turns Upwards

The order intake in industry increased by 2.6 percent in June compared to May. Compared to June last year, the increase was 0.8 percent, according to figures from Statistics Sweden (SCB).

It is primarily the orders from abroad that are increasing, while the order intake from the domestic market is decreasing.

So far this year, the total order intake has fallen by 6.6 percent compared to the first half of last year, according to SCB.
