Leading fuel chains are increasing prices on most fuels, in the wake of higher oil prices on the global market.
The recommended price for 95-octane petrol is rising by 20 öre to 18.24 kronor at manned stations. The diesel price is rising by 30 öre, resulting in a litre price of 17.84 kronor.
The chains are also increasing the price of biodiesel (HVO100) by 30 öre to 20.59 kronor per litre.
Prices for vehicle gas remain unchanged. However, the price of ethanol (E85) is rising by 20 öre to 14.89 kronor per litre.
Fuel prices are generally lower at unmanned stations and can vary locally. More than half of the prices of fossil fuels consist of carbon dioxide tax, energy tax, and VAT on both taxes and the fuel itself.
