Ludvig Åberg falls to the top in the PGA tournament in California after being hit by a probable food poisoning, but still chose to finish the round. Åberg went on 74 strokes and is now tied for eighth place ahead of Saturday's final round.
According to information to the TV channel Max, Åberg vomited the night before he was to go out and play the third round in San Diego. The Swede, who was one of the pre-favourites and started the golf tournament strongly and was in the lead, is now instead five strokes behind the leading Harris English, USA.
The tournament at Torrey Pines is played from Wednesday to Saturday because the organizers want to avoid a clash with the playoffs in the American football league, NFL, whose semifinals are decided on Sunday.
