The Englishman Fleetwood did not have his best day, but despite two bogeys and a double bogey he could keep himself in the lead at a total of 16 under par. However, he shares the lead with the American Patrick Cantlay.

The competition at East Lake Golf Club is Fleetwood's 164th on the PGA tour, but so far he has not won a single one. He started the tour final with two fine rounds at -6 and -7.

For the victory, he would get the equivalent of approximately 96 million kronor.

For Ludvig Åberg, it has not gone quite as well. The third round was, however, his clearly worst so far. Two double bogeys on holes 15 and 16 meant that the Swede lost six positions in the results list.

Before the final round, Åberg is in a shared 20th place, five strokes under par.
