The conflict between electric car manufacturer Tesla and the trade union IF Metall is soon to reach a new point: the Labour Court, reports Arbetsvärlden.
IF Metall will be submitting a lawsuit against Tesla to the Labour Court, as Tesla is refusing to provide information about the company's finances. According to the Co-Determination Act, Tesla is required to provide such information, and the trade union claims that Tesla is breaking the law.
The lawsuit will be submitted as soon as possible. At the latest, next week, says Tomas With, Vice Chairman of IF Metall to the newspaper.
The electric car company and the trade union have been at odds with each other since the end of October last year. According to IF Metall, the company is opposed to signing a collective agreement in Sweden, which has led the union to go on strike.
