It's human body parts that have been found, says the police's press spokesperson Nadya Norton.

The first discovery was made in a forest area by road 255 in Odensala outside Märsta north of Stockholm, at 09:40 in the morning.

At 11 am, the police received a call about the second find next to a beach in Hässelby villa city, about four miles away from there.

On Saturday afternoon, the police announced that they had found the entire body in Hässelby during the course of their work.

What happens now?

The identification work is ongoing, but it won't be clear today. I don't know exactly what condition these body parts are in, or how easy they are to identify. Sometimes it can take time, says Nadya Norton and emphasizes that she has no insight into that work.

A preliminary investigation into murder has been initiated, but it's to investigate the circumstances and then the investigation will show what might have happened, says Norton.

Can you say anything about a possible connection between the two finds?

It's too early to answer that.
