The journal system Millennium caused stress and mental illness among doctors. Now, Södra Älvsborgs hospital in Borås risks fines, reports P4 Sjuhärad.

According to the Work Environment Authority – which has reviewed the hospital after the union's alarm last autumn – there were deficiencies in the work environment during the introduction of Millennium. Therefore, the hospital management is required to respond to how the deficiencies will be addressed, otherwise, Säs may be forced to pay a fine.

Millennium began to be introduced in the Västra Götaland region in November, but was stopped after just a few days due to technical problems and massive criticism from healthcare staff.
