"My daughter Ori was born in a moment of uncertainty and fear. Her name, which means "light", was not chosen by chance. Before the operation, I told Jaron (Gadot's husband, editor's note) that when our daughter arrived, she would be the light waiting for me at the end of this tunnel", Gadot writes in her post.
Gadot, known from films like "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League", suffered from severe headaches when she was in her eighth month. After a couple of weeks of pain, an MRI scan revealed that she had developed a blood clot.
The dramatic event occurred in February this year, but Gadot writes that she has struggled for a long time with the question of whether to share it publicly. She is now fully recovered, but notes that blood clots are something that pregnant women can be affected by and urges everyone to be aware of their body's signals.
"If only one person takes action to protect their health because of this story, it has been worth sharing", writes Gal Gadot.
