In her speech, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris presented some of her prioritized messages, with one week left until the election on November 5. The attack was directed at Trump.
This is a person who is unstable, obsessed with revenge, completely absorbed by grievances, and who is after unrestricted power, said Harris.
With the White House in the background, the 60-year-old vice president painted a clear contrast to her rival.
In less than 90 days, either Donald Trump or I will take a seat in the Oval Office. If Donald Trump is elected, he will step in there with a list of enemies. If I am elected, I will step in with a to-do list.
Harris then shifted focus and said, among other things, that Americans who work hard should be able to afford to buy a home. She also returned to the issue of abortion, one of the Democrats' main issues during the election campaign, at a time when the increasingly conservative Supreme Court has overturned previous decisions.
The idea that a woman who has survived a crime against her body should not have the right to decide what happens to her body next is immoral, said Harris.
According to her campaign, 75,000 people were in place to see the speech, a figure that has not been confirmed.
