The 48th Gothenburg Film Festival has been officially inaugurated by Minister of Culture Parisa Liljestrand (M). 280 films from 80 countries will be shown during the week-long festival, and the theme of this year's festival is disobedience.
Earlier on Friday, a film policy "summit" was held with the entire Nordic industry gathered – a meeting that the Minister of Culture abstained from, which created irritation at the industry meeting, reports Gothenburg-Posten.
Instead, Liljestrand held a press conference in Stockholm on how illegal IP-TV can be banned, which could be followed on a large screen at the Draken cinema in Gothenburg.
