The British Museum is one of London's most famous tourist attractions, but a disgruntled former employee has caused trouble for the museum, reports BBC.
The IT technician who was fired last week is said to have managed to gain access to the building. Once inside, the former employee was able to shut down several of the museum's IT systems before the police apprehended the person.
The incident is now one in a series of embarrassing incidents for the British Museum. A few years ago, it was revealed that a former employee had managed to steal around 1,800 items in an attempt to sell them.
