According to the authorities, the company has used illegal methods to secure its dominance on the online advertising market.

The authorities are requesting that the court that handles competition cases decide that Google should be required to: sell two of its advertising tools, pay a fine equivalent to three times the profit made by using the illegal methods (or three percent of the total gross revenue) and that the company cease its anti-competitive methods.

Just a week ago, the US Department of Justice made a request that Google be forced to sell the Chrome web browser, as the department claims that the company has monopolized the market.
