A girl who was in a car that drove into Stångån in Linköping in August has died, writes Corren.

A passenger car rolled away and drove into Stångån near Kallerstadsbron.

Four people, a woman and a man in their 40s, as well as a girl and a boy, between one and three years old, were taken to hospital in connection with the accident. The woman died at the hospital, while the man and the boy suffered minor injuries.

Now the police report that the girl has also died.

I can confirm that the girl has died. We will continue to investigate what happened. The suspicion concerns causing the death of another person in two cases, says Marie Åhlund, who is leading the investigation, to Corren.

A man has been suspected of causing the death of another person and bodily harm, as well as traffic offenses.
