At least seven people have died after a gangway collapsed at a ferry terminal on Sapelo Island in the US state of Georgia, according to a harbour spokesperson.
The rescue service continues to search for more victims. The gangway broke when around 20 people were on it and fell into the water.
There are currently many visitors on the island for a cultural event that highlights the culture that former black slaves formed on the island once.
