Swedish NHL star Gabriel Landeskog is approaching a comeback after a two-year injury break. According to Colorado's coach Jared Bednar, there is no exact timeline, but Landeskog has now been able to skate and train a couple of times a week.
He's trying to make a comeback at the beginning of the season, and if it succeeds, it will be a big addition for us, says Bednar to the NHL's official website.
The 31-year-old Landeskog's last match was in June 2022 when his Colorado won the Stanley Cup after a win against Tampa Bay. He has since undergone several knee operations.
Before the injury problems, Landeskog, who was selected as number two by Colorado in the 2011 draft, had made a total of 571 points in the NHL, including 248 goals.
