"We reiterate our commitment to follow international humanitarian law and will fulfill our respective obligations," say the foreign ministers of the seven countries in a joint statement after two days of talks near Rome.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu on Thursday, which led to outrage from Israel and its allies – including the US, which is not a member of the ICC and has rejected its jurisdiction.
All other G7 countries are members of the ICC, which means they would be required to arrest Netanyahu if he traveled there.
The G7 group consists of the UK, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, host country Italy, and the US.
The ICC also issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu's former defense minister and for Hamas military chief Mohammed Dayf, who according to Israel was killed in an air strike in Gaza in July. Hamas has not confirmed his death.
