The USA may contribute up to 20 billion dollars as part of the 50 billion dollar loan to Ukraine that the G7 countries previously agreed on, according to Financial Times.
The loan is to be financed with returns from Russian assets frozen in the West after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
President Joe Biden is eager to quickly secure the loan support so that Donald Trump cannot stop it if he wins the election and the White House.
