One of the women whom Marius Borg Høiby is suspected of assaulting has been threatened after the investigation became known.
She has now reported the threats to the police, says her legal representative John Christian Elden.
She has met with many reactions and largely received support. But also threats. We are reporting what is perceived as threatening or attempts to get her to withdraw her accusations and not say anything to the police, he says.
Marius Borg Høiby, who is the son of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit from a previous relationship, is suspected of assault in several cases, among other things.
In social media, the former girlfriend writes that she has received "repulsive messages" and therefore chose to sleep at a friend's place on Saturday night.
The woman is one of four who have accused Borg Høiby. On Saturday, the charges in her report against him were extended to also include assault in a close relationship.
John Christian Elden emphasizes that they do not accuse Marius Borg Høiby of being behind the threats against his client.
