Shortly before the event, member David Kirtadze told the commission's chairman Giorgi Kalandarisjvili that the official result does not reflect the voters' "real choice".
Kalandarisjvili responded by saying that the use of "pressure, bullying, and personal insults" shows that there is no evidence of electoral fraud.
The party Georgian Dream, which has been accused of being increasingly friendly towards Russia, won according to the final figures with 53.9 percent of the votes against 37.8 for an opposition alliance.
Besides the opposition, countries such as the USA and European countries have demanded that suspected irregularities in connection with the election be investigated following allegations of fraud and Russian interference.
Demonstrators in Georgia have since the election demanded a new election under international supervision and an investigation into the alleged irregularities.
