A fire broke out in a recycling factory in Bor in Värnamo municipality on Monday.
The rescue service issued a VMA – important message to the public – due to heavy smoke development. But it was lifted at 21:00.
It has burned in pressed plastic, plastic bales, which there are plenty of in the building. But it's a small part of it that has burned, says Ricki Boman, incident commander at the rescue service in Gislaved.
The fire is said to have spread to an edge of the building and up into a smaller ventilation house on the roof.
It's barely smoking from it. It looks good, says Boman, who believes the operation will soon be over.
The alarm came in at 18:40 on Monday. There are no reports of personal injuries.
