Nearly 300 million cigarettes, 47 tons of tobacco leaves, and cash worth over half a million kronor.
This could be seized by Latvian police and border police in a raid against a criminal network and an illegal cigarette factory last week, according to Europol in a press release.
The amount of cigarettes corresponds, according to Europol, to 29 fully loaded trucks and has a street value of over 75 million euros, equivalent to approximately 850 million kronor.
32 people from several countries were arrested in the operation.
The gang leader was arrested earlier this year, which, according to Latvia's police chief Armands Ruks, led the police to a network operating across large parts of the EU, including Scandinavia.
