The Swedish Dyslexia Association's chairperson Christina Hellman receives the Natur & Kultur reading prize of 250,000 kronor.
The prize changes its name from the Ingvar Lundberg Prize as of this year, while the amount awarded to the recipient increases by 100,000 kronor.
Christina Hellman is a retired university lecturer in linguistics at Stockholm University and receives the prize for "spreading knowledge and awareness of reading and writing difficulties and dyslexia in society as a researcher and through the Dyslexia Association", as stated in the motivation.
The Natur & Kultur reading prize has been awarded since 2014 and is given to a person who has made significant contributions to promoting reading and writing skills.
