For the fourth year in a row, Armand Duplantis is inviting the rest of the pole vault elite to his own competition in Uppsala. On March 13, 2025, it's time for a new edition of "Mondo Classic" at IFU arena.

Duplantis sees the competition as a perfect warm-up ahead of the indoor World Championship in China the following week – where the Swede intends to jump home a new gold medal.

"I had a fantastic season this year, with the world record in the Olympic Games final as the most incredible thing I've experienced. A childhood dream come true. I love pole vaulting and want to constantly challenge myself to higher heights," says Armand Duplantis in a press release.

During the year, Duplantis improved his own world record three times, up to the current best mark of 6.26 meters. He took European Championship gold and Olympic Games gold outdoors, World Championship gold indoors, and was named Europe's best male athlete in track and field last week.
