Two Chinese football officials have been sentenced to long prison terms after being found guilty of bribery.
Liu Jun, former head of the Chinese top league in football, is sentenced to eleven years in prison and fines of 1.47 million kronor.
Liu Jun has been under investigation for corruption crimes for a longer period.
Also Wang Xiaoping, former head of the Chinese Football Association's disciplinary committee is sentenced to prison for bribery, the sentence is ten and a half years.
The verdicts should be seen in the light of an increased focus from China's President Xi Jinping to get to grips with corruption in the country.
