The construction is taking place in cooperation with Ukrainian companies, in order to be able to contribute to Ukraine's defense against Russia. Initially, the factory will only have a few dozen employees, but it is expected to grow to at least hundreds, according to CEO Jussi Holopainen.
"The need for drone technology and production capacity is great. Drones will be delivered not only to Ukraine, but also to EU and NATO countries", it says in a press release according to media in Finland.
The location of the facility will remain secret for security reasons.
