A woman in her 50s has died after a diving accident off Höganäs, the police announce.
The rescue service was alerted in the morning to Kullaberg off Höganäs, writes Helsingborgs Dagblad.
Two divers performed first aid on a woman in her 50s when the rescue service and ambulance arrived at the scene. The woman was taken by helicopter to a decompression chamber in Lund, writes HD.
The alarm came a few minutes after 10 am. At 3 pm, the police announced that the woman had died.
The woman's diving equipment has been seized "for further investigation" and a death investigation will be conducted, writes the police on their website.
