We have discussed how to do the most difficult thing in politics. How to go from presenting political proposals, negotiating with the parties in the Folketing, entering into political agreements, and then getting it to work in reality, says Frederiksen.

The Minister for Emergency Preparedness will coordinate the country's emergency preparedness. Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen (V) states that the country needs a coordinating minister after the snowstorm that hit Denmark in January.

Many will probably remember that the snowstorm closed some roads and highways in Denmark. We have been able to establish that motorists were stuck for a long time, he says, and also states that he has been in contact with Sweden's Minister for Civil Defense Carl-Oskar Bohlin (M) for inspiration.

The Green Minister will be tasked with implementing the country's "green tripartite", a package that will long-term transform Denmark's agriculture, which, among other things, involves a CO2 tax on agriculture.

Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen (M) states that the European Minister is needed ahead of 2025 when Denmark takes over the presidency of the EU.

The new ministers will be presented during a government reshuffle on Thursday.
